Making MENOPAUSE MATTER AT WORK
Tried and tested programmes, tailored to your organisation
Did you know women over 50 are the fastest growing workplace demographic? And that in the UK, 15.5 million women are currently going through the menopause transition? Yet according to a recent survey by BUPA, almost a million women have left their job because of menopause symptoms.
As a result, the menopause costs British industry a staggering £10 billion a year [1].
As an employer, it makes sense to help your whole team navigate this pivotal life stage, because menopause affects us all. Every woman experiences menopause first hand and every man will know someone in their life going through it - be it a colleague, a partner or a family member.
I run research-backed programmes that help organisations create a more menopause-friendly environment. Work with me to ensure your team openly understands the menopause experience and is fully equipped with the language and tools needed to discuss it head-on.

what i do
I work with a variety of organisations to remove stigma, break down taboos and empower employees with practical, evidence-based knowledge. My aim is to get everyone talking about menopause at work, without embarrassment, shame or fear of recrimination.
I do this by providing bespoke training that equips the whole team with the tools needed to support women in the workplace. Not only does this support inclusivity, it increases retention, boosts performance and productivity, minimises absence, lowers recruitment costs and strengthens employee relations.

what can you expect
Menopause training is proven to save costs, reduce absences, bolster productivity and increase employees' trust. Just as importantly, it helps women thrive in the workplace, claim top positions and narrow the gender pay gap.
Being open and starting conversations around menopause or, more widely, around women’s wellbeing and mental health can feel daunting. But to attract and retain talent, it’s vital organisations make the leap.
“We engaged Emma several times to tap into her extensive resources and knowledge to not just educate and inform our employees about menopause, but to actively promote dialogue, community, change and new policy for The Body Shop. Emma delivered every time and is without any doubt one of the pre-eminent activists in this niche space.”
